​Mary McKinley - Co-Artistic Director

​Mary holds Bachelor of Music from East Carolina University, and a Master of Arts from Radford University.   She has taught private & class voice, as well as Shakespeare’s First Folio technique, acting and monologues. She is a founder of Greenwood Lake Theater and serves as Co-Producing Artistic Director along with Katherine Weatherford.  Her film credits include:  Payaso (Clown), Three from the Block, The Otherworld, and Poker Night. Her extensive theatrical credits include:  Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz  and Widow Corney in Oliver! with Greenwood Lake Theater.  Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Rosalind in As You Like It, Helena & Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dreame with the Spontaneous Shakespeare Players, title role in the world premiere of Anna Nicole: Blonde Glory with Xoregos Performing Company, Lady Macbeth in Voodoo Macbeth with Mercia Entertainment,  Hermione in The Winter's Tale with Southwest Shakespeare Company, and Claire in Proof with Winni Playhouse. Mary is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actor’s Equity and is an active musical theater and cabaret performer. MsMaryVirginia.com

​Katie Weatherford - ​Co-Artistic Director

Katherine holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and has been professionally active in stage, film and television for over a decade. She founded Greenwood Lake Theatre alongside Co-Artistic Director Mary McKinley in summer 2016 and co-produced The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Previously, Katherine had produced cabarets, independent films and an independent sitcom pilot titled How Come I’m Not Famous Yet? Katherine’s stage credits include Maria in West Side Story, Janet in The Rocky Horror Show, Sarah Kines in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Sister Mary Luke in Nunsense:The Mega Musical (Barn Theatre, MI), Kathy Selden in Singin’ in the Rain, Ariel Moore in Footloose , Lily St. Regis in Annie (Alhambra Theatre, FL) Judy Haynes in White Christmas (Woodlands Repertory Theatre, TX) and Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Greenwood Lake Theater.) Film and television appearances include independent films Fish Mich, Deceit, and Jerk. Television and webseries include How Come I’m Not Famous Yet?, (Un)Balanced, Scorned: Love Kills, Frenemies and as a guest historian on the Travel Channel’s Mysteries at the Museum.


Gitana Mims - Artistic Associate

Gitana Mims is a graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.  She holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Education with an emphasis in Voice. Miss Mims has been both teaching privately and musically directing for over a decade while making occasional appearances on stage.  She has had the privilege to musically direct such shows as “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, “Chicago”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Kiss Me, Kate”, “Les Miserable”, and “Oliver”  Miss Mims joined the staff of Greenwood Lake Theater in 2018 and since then has had the privilege of musically directing, acting, and most recently playing in and directing the 2019 production of “Into the Woods”.  She has also performed in several productions in St. Louis theatres where she currently resides.  Miss Mims is a lifetime member of the Texas Music Educators Association and National Association of Teachers of Singing; she also serves on the board of directors for First Run Theatre in St. Louis.  Miss Mims is passionate about bringing theatre to all people and providing a safe place for marginalized  people to practice their craft.​

KEVIN MILNES - Artistic Associate

Kevin Milnes works with the Greenwood Lake Theater team as a Musical Director, Director, Actor, and Artistic Associate.  Shows with GWLT include Into the Woods, A Christmas Carol, Back to the Future: A Musical Revue, and more. Other previous musical direction projects: Oklahoma! (Midtown Arts Center), Clue: the musical (Porchlight Productions), Aladdin Jr. (Porchlight Productions). Previous direction and musical direction: Les
Misérables (Up In Lights), The Wizard Of Oz (Up In Lights), Hairspray Jr. (Saint Francis Xavier), Into The Woods (Porchlight Productions), Camp Rock (Porchlight Productions). Kevin teaches voice, piano, and theatre arts at The Rock Underground in Greenwood Lake. He is also a member of Actors Equity Association
