​MaKenna DeMers - Assistant Director / Rapunzel

MaKenna is really happy to be making her GWLT debut along with her first ever experience with both wig-wearing and assistant directing. She’s about to begin her final year at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she plans to earn her BA in musical theatre. MaKenna’s moved around a lot as a military kid, but currently considers home to be Wichita Falls, Texas, as that’s where her goats live. Credits include: Featured Soloist (Gleneagles Christmas Concert 2018), Street Chorus Member (Bernstein Mass performed with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra), Ensemble (Bon Apetit: A New Musical, RCS Bridge Week).

Frank Falisi - The Baker

​Frank is mondo stoked to be making his debut at Greenwood Lake, especially among such excellent company! Recent credits and favorite roles include Black Stache (Peter and the Starcatcher), Stage Manager (Our Town), Roger (A New Brain), Elwood (Harvey), Leo (Chapter Two), Scoop (The Heidi Chronicles). Mega love to mom and dad and Finley; globs of gratitude to Gitana, Katie, Mary, Kevin, and everybody else at GW Lake for making this such a sweet noise.

Anthony Malchar - Jack

​Anthony is thrilled to be making his debut here with Greenwood lake. While he may be new here, he is certainly no stranger adventuring “Into the woods!” Favorite credits include: Tommy (The Who’s Tommy), Huck Finn (Big River), The titular role in (The Toxic Avenger), and his award winning Eugene (Broadway Bound) for best leading actor in a professional play. In his spare time he enjoys being a Disney fanatic, and making balloon art. Thanks to everyone involved. What do you wish for?

​Gitana LaRae Mims - Director / The Baker's Wife

Gitana is thrilled to be making her summer return to Greenwood Lake Theater. She musically directed last summer’s production of “Oliver” with director, Michael Sherry, and was seen on stage in “A Streetcar Named Desire”.  She is an alumnus of Midwestern State University, and holds a Bachelors in Music Education. Miss Mims has been both teaching privately and musically directing for over a decade while making occasional appearances on stage. She has had the privilege to musically direct such shows as “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, “Chicago”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Kiss Me, Kate”,  and “Les Miserable”.  Miss Mims is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and National Association of Teachers of Singing; she has also written contributing articles for the Southwestern Musician.  Currently, she lives in St. Louis teaching and performing. ​

Nathaniel Myles - Narrator / Mysterious Man

​Nathaniel is elated to be returning to Greenwood Lake Theater for his second production ! Last year he played Mr. Sowerberry in their production of Oliver! The Musical. Graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design, Nathaniel moved to New York in late 2016. Since his arrival he has done Bone Soup with the Black Lady Theatre and performed as a dancer for The Black History Museum with the Smoke & Mirrors company. In his studies at SCAD he performed in: Ragtime:The Musical (Ensemble/Asst.Choreographer) Hairspray (Ensemble) Moby Dick: The Musical (Elijah) and Dancing with the Stars:Konfidential Edition (Director/Choreographer/Dancer). He will be directing a production of Nick Payne’s Constellations at the John Destolle Theatre August 23-25. He would like to thank the cast and crew for an amazing experience and stupendous production!

Laura Ann Peterson - Jack's Mother / Granny

Laura  is elated to return to the Greenwood Lakes Theater stage after appearing in Oliver! as Mrs. Sowerberry and Streetcar Named Desire as Eunice. New York credits include Holofernia in Love’s Labour’s Lost: The Musical (The York) and Ladies of the 80’s (54Below). She also created the roles of Victoria Woodhull in Dumpster Fire (SheNYC) and Lotty in Absorbency (Sundog). Other favorite theatrical credits include Rose Hoffman/Trucker in Working: The Musical (MMC) & Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables (Arts Alive). Proud graduate of Marymount Manhattan College. Mary Virginia* - The Witch

​Mary was born in Virginia and now has an adorable little house in Greenwood Lake. She received her B.M. from East Carolina University, and a M.A. from Radford University. Favorite roles at GWLT: Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire,  Widow Corney in Oliver!, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, Rona Lisa Peretti in Spelling Bee and being a Co-Artistic Director! Mike Walsh* - Cinderella's Stepmother / Rapunzel's Prince

Mike is thrilled to be making his Greenwood Lake debut on his third foray Into The Woods. Mike hails from Braintree, Massachusetts but currently makes his home in Manhattan, where he attended NYU for a bachelor’s in linguistics and creative writing and Columbia for an MFA in Acting. Favorite roles include Younger Brother in Ragtime, Vice Principal Panch in Spelling Bee, the Russian, Anatoly, in Chess, the Valet in No Exit, Rodrigo in Othello, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and Belyayev in A Month In The Country. Brady Walsh - Wolf / Cinderella's Prince

Brady is a native of Burnt Hills, NY and a graduate of the Crane School of Music. He co-founded Carpe Diem Productions in Round Lake, NY, serving as Music Director for 4 years, and now works in the Artistic Department at the Metropolitan Opera. He is thrilled to be returning to GWLT after appearing as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire and Bill Sikes in Oliver! Other credits include: Tateh in Ragtime, Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Hysterium in A Funny Thing... Tomo Watanabe - Little Red Ridinghood

Tomo is thrilled to be a part of Greenwood Lake Theatre’s Into the Woods! She is originally from Japan and is a 2014 graduate of AMDA. Her previous credits include: Regional: Miss Saigon (Gigi); Off-Broadway: The Little Mermaid (Ensemble), A Christmas Carol (Peter), and Alice in Wonderland (Dodo Bird); Off-Off-Broadway: Into The Woods (Little Red Ridinghood), The Monkey King (Jogo), Gypsy (Hollywood Blonde). Katherine Weatherford* - Cinderella

​Katie is the Co-Artistic Director of Greenwood Lake Theater alongside the fabulous Mary McKinley.  GWLT credits include Olive in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz," Nancy in "Oliver!" and, most recently, Stella Kowalski in "A Streetcar Named Desire."  She feels so lucky to get to work on amazing roles with such talented company members, and is excited to see what comes next for this company!  Much love and thanks to Bryan, Apollo, Virginia, and her family!

Kevin Milnes - Music Director

Kevin is excited to be working with the Greenwood Lake Theatre Company as musical director! Previous musical direction: Oklahoma! (Midtown Arts Center), Clue: the musical (Porchlight Productions), Aladdin Jr. (Porchlight Productions). Previous direction and musical direction: Les Miserables (Up In Lights), The Wizard Of Oz (Up In Lights), Hairspray Jr. (Saint Francis Xavier), Into The Woods (Porchlight Productions), Camp Rock (Porchlight Productions). Kevin teaches voice, piano, and theatre arts at The Rock Underground in Greenwood Lake. He is also a member of Actors Equity Association. 

Mandy Scott* - Stage Manager

Theresa Nelson - ​Lighting Design

Theresa is delighted to be a part of Greenwood Lake Theater for her third year!  Previously she was a lighting and producing intern for this company’s production of The Wizard of Oz and lighting designer for Oliver!.  She is now an apprentice electrician with Local 3’s International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Matt Dovico - Steward US / Ensemble

​Matt has been involved in local theater and voice productions since 2011.  Some of his favorite parts have been playing John Darling in Peter Pan Jr., Horton the Elephant, in Seussical Jr., and Noah in Oliver.  Matt is a member of the prestigious men’s chorale group Jubilate.  This is his 2nd production with Greenwood Lake Theater and he is honored to be part of the show.  Matt would like to thank his family, his biggest fans for their love and support through this journey.  Matt enjoys soccer, skiing and hanging out with his friends. He hopes you enjoy the show.

Jacob Ciriello - Jack US / Ensemble

​Jacob is very proud to be part of the Greenwood Lake Theater summer program   He has previously had lead roles in School House Rock Live! Jr., Beauty and the Beast (Maurice), Lion King (Pumbaa),  Mary Poppins (Michael Banks), Oliver (Oliver and Ensemble), Bye Bye Birdie (Randolph MacAfee), and Happily (Stefan).  Jacob is starting 7th grade in the fall at MW Middle School and will continue in the Drama Club.  In addition, he recently completed his training for 2nd degree black belt in taekwondo and is also taking guitar lessons.  In his free time, he enjoys karaoke, video games, building legos, and playing with his new puppy, Lucy.  Jacob would like to thank his family for all of their love and support.

Megan Blasko - Snow White

Jilian Calub = Milky White

​Jillian could not be more excited to be at Greenwood Lake Theater. She is going into 7th grade at MW Middle School and started doing plays in 2015, however Jillian has been doing improv with her older sister since she was 3 years old. Briana Bellone - Giant

Thea Silverstein - Sleeping Beauty

Thea Silverstein loves to sing Broadway songs all day long. So she's thrilled to join Greenwood Lake Theater as Sleeping Beauty in Into the Woods. She has performed in Mamma Mia and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at Warwick Valley High School and Singin' in the Rain, The Wizard of Oz, The Little Mermaid, The Giver, and Annie with Brooklyn Acting Lab. ​

Emma Katzman - Lucinda

​Emma is going into her senior year at Monroe Woodbury High School, and she is so excited to be participating in her third Greenwood Lake Theater production.  Emma is in Senior Company at her dance school, and is also a part of the MWHS Drama Club, Voice Ensemble, and Orchestra.  She loves spending her summers with her GWL family and is so excited for you to see this year's production of Into The Woods.  She would like to thank Katie, Mary, Gitana, and Kevin for always believing in her, and her family and friends for their endless support!  Enjoy the show!

Justin Arbit - Ensemble

​Justin is excited to make his Greenwood Lake Theater debut this summer! He is going to be a freshman at Warwick High School in the fall. He was recently seen as The Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland. Other shows include Peter Pan and Maleficent.  In addition to acting,  Justin plays the saxophone and the trumpet,  and is a football player. He would like to thank his parents, Mr. Compton, and Mr. Pignataro. Enjoy the show!

Riley Cupo - Ensemble / Propsmaster

​Riley is a sophomore at Warwick high school and has been apart of Greenwood Lake Theater 3 years now and absolutely loves it.  She has worked back stage and on costumes for Oliver last year as well as being prop master for the Wizard of Oz the year before. She has also had a chance to design and create props as well as manage Toto backstage throughout the Wizard of Oz production.In her middle school career, she has worked on set design and lighting as well as stage crew for Mulan and Cinderella. She is thrilled to be a part of this Theater program to learn how Broadway shows work behind the scenes as well as on stage. Her career goal is to major in stage production and design in order to continue her love of theater in college.

Isabelle Flores - Ensemble

Isabelle will be a freshman at Warwick Valley High School in the fall.  During her four years at the middle school she was a member of chorus, orchestra and the drama club.  Recent roles include Lady of the Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot, Fred the Bartender in Anything Goes, and ensemble for Seussical the Musical and Alice in Wonderland Jr.  She’s also attends The Rock Underground in Greenwood Lake and loves singing, song writing, playing piano and cello.  Isabelle is excited to be a part of Greenwood Lake Theater this summer and is looking forward to the show and making new friends.  She would like to thank her parents and instructors for all their love and support through the years. ​

Ella Katzman - FLORINDA / Little Red US

Ella is going to be a freshman at Monroe Woodbury HS in September, and she is thrilled be be participating in her third Greenwood Lake Theater production.  Ella played Oliver Twist in last year's production of Oliver! and she is very excited for you to see this year's production of Into The Woods.  She is a member of Senior cCompany at her dance school, an is involved in the drama club, chamber chorus, and orchestra at her school.  In her spare time, Ella enjoys reading, playing piano, and being artistic.  She would like t thank her family and friends for their love and support, especially her little brother Ian for always running lines with her.  She would also like to thank Katie, Mary, Gitana, and everyone involved in the making of this show for allowing her to grow and be a part of this amazing family!  She hopes you enjoy the show! ​

Larissa Nothnagle - Rapunzel US / Ensemble

​Larissa is extremely excited to be a part of Into The Woods in her fourth production with Greenwood Lake Theater. She is a rising senior at Burke Catholic High School, and has been a part of the Drama Club for three years, directing and assistant directing two productions this year. Previous roles include: The Little Mermaid (Arista, Seagull, Ensemble), Oliver! (Charlotte and Ensemble), Just Another High School Play (Assistant Director), and The Lion King Jr. (Scar). Larissa also enjoys sewing and fashion design in her spare time. She is planning on majoring in Musical Theatre in college. She would like to thank her mother, father, sister, aunt, the lovely people at GWLT, and her friends.

Samantha Sullivan - Florinda

Samantha Sullivan is 16 years old and she is an upcoming junior at Monroe-Woodbury High School. She has been performing her whole life but this will be her debut with Greenwood Lake Theater! Samantha most recently portrayed the role of Alice Beineke in Monroe-Woodbury High School’s production of ‘The Addams Family’. Not only does she love theatre, she has a love for choral singing. Samantha has been singing with Jubilate Choir of Warwick for almost five years. Through choral singing she has been given the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall, Cathedral of Saint John the Divine and London, England with KIconcerts and Dr. Rollo Dilworth. She would to thank her family for always supporting her and her dreams! Samantha is so excited to have the opportunity to perform with Greenwood Lake Theater and she hopes you enjoy the show. Noah Horowitz - Steward

​Noah has been involved in theater and voice productions since 2014.  Some of his favorite roles include Sir Lancelot in Spamalot and Young Ebeneezer in A Christmas Carol.  Noah is involved in several local theater groups, but this is his first show with Greenwood Lake Theater.  He is very excited to be a part of the production.  Noah would like to thank his family and friends, the cast and crew of Into the Woods, and Kevin Milnes, our musical director and his private vocal coach.  His hobbies include acting, singing, and hanging out with friends.  He hopes you have a wonderful time in the woods!
