Doris Baizley’s highly inventive stage adaptation of this family favorite holiday classic is an energetic and creative romp through the Charles Dickens story told by a “ragtag” troupe of traveling players made up of actors, puppets, clowns, and mimes. The magical world of make-believe comes to life as the troupe’s trunk of supplies magically opens and this timeless Christmas tale of redemption spills out, pulling us into the life of Ebenezer Scrooge.
